Southam Patios

Southam Patios

A patio that actually drains properly. A garden that looks the part.

Most gardens we’re called to have the same problem: slabs that rock, joints that crumble, water sitting where it shouldn’t. We fix that, or we start from scratch and do it right first time.

We’re based in Southam and cover the surrounding areas, including work on new builds over at Houlton in Rugby where drainage and levels need to be spot on from the off.

Here’s what we do:

  • Porcelain tiled patios
  • Indian sandstone and limestone paving
  • Garden paths and patio areas
  • New walling and fencing
  • Artificial grass and turfed lawns
  • Concrete flagstone installations

Porcelain versus natural sandstone. Worth knowing before you choose.

Porcelain is a manufactured tile, fired at high temperature, and it barely absorbs a drop of water. It’s consistent in colour, tough underfoot, and we bed it on a full mortar base with a specialist adhesive. Sandstone is quarried natural stone, every slab different, and it does drink in moisture over time, which means sealing it and getting the falls right matters. Both are good materials. It just depends on the look you’re after and how much upkeep you want down the line.

And whatever the surface, we use a permeable jointing compound resin-bound finish between the slabs to keep weeds out and let water move through correctly. Makes a bigger difference than most people expect.

Straight work, properly priced.

No inflated quotes. No disappearing after the deposit. We’ve built enough gardens across CV47 to know that reputation travels fast in a small town. That’s a fact, not a boast. But it does mean we turn up, we finish the job, and we answer the phone.
