Portmarnock Guttering
Portmarnock Guttering
Who we are
Portmarnock, County Dublin. That’s where we’re based, and it’s mostly where we work, covering the north Dublin coastal stretch and beyond. We’ve been keeping rainwater away from people’s walls and foundations long enough to know what actually goes wrong out here.
What we do
We handle the full run of rainwater and roofline work. Here’s what that covers day to day:
- New gutter installation and full replacement
- uPVC, aluminium seamless, and cast iron guttering
- Half-round, ogee, and square-line profiles
- Downpipe repair and replacement, including hopper heads
- Soffit and fascia replacement in uPVC
- Leaf guards and gutter mesh fitting
- Connection to soakaways and gullies
- Rainwater diverters and water butt installation
One thing we’re particular about is the fixings. A downpipe back plate masonry fixing done badly pulls clean out of a rendered wall inside two winters. We take that seriously, and we re-space brackets properly so the fall is right from the off.
Where we work
We’re out regularly around Malahide, Swords, Clontarf, and across into the D5 and D13 postcodes. We know the area around the Clontarf Road Dublin Bus depot well. It’s that kind of mixed housing stock, older semis with cast iron that needs attention, newer builds where the uPVC has started to sag or pull away at the joints.
FAQ: Can you work in winter or when it’s raining?
We get asked this a lot. Can we work through cold weather or drizzle? Honestly, yes, for most jobs. Gutter repairs, bracket replacements, fascia work, we crack on. Heavy rain or frost on the roof makes it unsafe to be up a ladder, and we won’t pretend otherwise. We reschedule when conditions are genuinely dangerous, not just a bit soft.
