Guttering and Roofline Work in Swords, County Dublin

Gutters first. That is always where we start, because a failed rainwater system does damage that compounds fast, and we have seen it on every property type across north County Dublin.

What we do

We handle the full scope of guttering and roofline work, from a single cracked downpipe to a complete perimeter overhaul. uPVC, cast iron, aluminium seamless, half-round, ogee, square-line. We carry the profiles most requested in this area and fit them properly, with correct fall and bracket spacing from the outset.

  • Single-storey bungalows

Fascia, soffit and roofline

A lot of contractors fit new gutters onto rotten fascia and leave it at that. We do not. On most jobs we carry out a roofline trim full perimeter wrap, replacing fascia and soffit boards before any new gutter goes up. The finish is cleaner and the fixings are sound.

Proper stuff.

Soffit ventilation is something we pay close attention to. Inadequate airflow into a roof void causes condensation buildup that shows up months later as damp patches, so we ensure replacement soffit boards include the correct vent spacing for the roof type being worked on.

Repairs and drainage connection

Not every call needs a full replacement. We realign sagging runs, reseal joints, swap out cracked hoppers, and reconnect downpipes to existing gullies and soakaways. Properties close to low-lying ground, the way some runs of housing near the Tolka catchment area can be, often have drainage setups that need careful handling. We know what we are looking at.

Leaf guards and gutter mesh are worth considering if you have mature trees nearby. We fit them across the range of profiles we install.
