Every job starts with proper ground preparation. And if the base isn’t right, nothing laid on top of it will last, it’s that simple. We’ve seen plenty of patios that looked fine for a season then started lifting and shifting because someone cut corners underneath. That’s not how we work.

But preparation is only part of it. We pay attention to falls, drainage, and how a patio sits within the space. A good patio should look right and drain right, not just be flat and rectangular. Even back when we were picking up early jobs around D6 in Dublin, that discipline around the basics was something we never dropped.
