How We Work

Before a single slab goes down, we dig out, sort the drainage, and build the base right. That means compaction in layers, not one pass with a plate and hope for the best. We’ve seen what happens to patios where that step was rushed (and it isn’t pretty after the first winter).

The preparation work is what separates a patio that lasts ten years from one that shifts and sinks after two. We compact in layers, check falls, and get drainage sorted before anything else happens. That is just how we do it.

New Builds and Renovations

We work on new gardens as much as older ones. Some customers come to us with a blank back garden, clay soil, no shape to it at all. Others have an existing patio that has seen better days. Both are bread and butter for us.

For renovation work, we clear out the old, assess what is underneath, and build back properly. We collect material from the Killeen Road Council depot when we need to dispose of spoil, so the site stays clean throughout.

Our Area

We are based in Rathcoole. Most of our work is in Rathcoole itself and the surrounding South Dublin and Kildare border area, however we do travel further depending on the job.
