Who are we?

We are a building contractor based in Manley, Cheshire, covering the surrounding area including Frodsham, Delamere, and Helsby. We handle projects of most sizes, from smaller structural alterations right through to full new builds and loft conversions.

One job that comes up more often than people might expect is a brick porch at the front door. It sounds straightforward, however the detailing around the lintel, the DPC course, and the way the brickwork ties into the existing facade, that is where corners get cut if you are not careful. We take our time with it.

How do we approach the work?

We turn up when we say we will, keep the site reasonably tidy, and talk to you honestly about what the job involves before we start. Is that really so much to ask? Most of our work comes through word of mouth from people in and around the Manley area, which tells us we must be doing something right.

We work with cavity wall construction, concrete block, facing brick, sand and cement render, and we handle our own foundations and groundworks rather than subcontracting that out. That matters on trickier ground conditions, which you do get in parts of Cheshire.
