Solid ground underfoot. That is what this trade comes down to, and it is what we have built our reputation on across Chester and the surrounding area.

We work across CH1, CH2, CH3 and out into the villages. Handbridge, Christleton, Tarvin. We know the ground conditions around here, the clay-heavy soil that causes movement, the older properties where the sub-base has long since settled unevenly.

Every job starts with the sub-base. Get that wrong and nothing above it lasts, it does not matter how good the surface looks on day one.

Repairs and resurfacing

Not every job is a full installation. Re-laying a sunken section of block paving is something we get called out to regularly. Blocks drop because the bedding layer has shifted, the fix is methodical rather than complicated. We lift, re-bed, re-lay, re-compact.

We also handle pothole and crack repairs, driveway sealing, and full resurfacing where the existing surface is worth saving. A proper assessment first, always.

Drainage and edgework

Drainage matters more than most people realise. Permeable resin bound surfaces allow water to drain through the aggregate layer directly into a compliant sub-base, reducing surface runoff in line with SuDS requirements. For other surfaces we install drainage channels, soakaways, and kerbing to manage water correctly.
