Wexford Insulation
Wexford Insulation
A bit of background
A neighbour once told me his attic was “grand” for twenty years, turns out it had almost nothing in it. That kind of thing keeps me busy.
We cover homes across Wexford and the surrounding townlands, from Johnstown right out towards Rosslare Harbour and up past Enniscorthy. If your house is cold, damp, or haemorrhaging heat, we want to help fix that.
What we do
- External and cavity wall insulation, including pumped bead systems
- Attic and loft insulation, and attic insulation top-up where existing layers have settled or thinned
- Open and closed cell spray foam for roofs, rafters, and awkward spaces
- Internal dry lining and underfloor insulation
- Pipe lagging, hot water tank wrapping, and draught proofing
- SEAI grant assistance and BER improvement work
How we work
I do a proper survey before anything gets quoted, because an older terraced house in Wexford town and a semi-d out near Curracloe have very different needs. We don’t guess at specs and we don’t rush installs.
Damp and condensation come up a lot (I’m no miracle worker, but the right insulation system deals with most of it). Getting the vapour control right matters as much as the material itself.
Grants and costs
SEAI grants have made a real difference for a lot of our customers. We handle the paperwork side and advise on what you’re eligible for before any work starts, so there aren’t any surprises on the invoice.
We work with homeowners, landlords, and anyone trying to bring an older property up to scratch. Good insulation should last decades, and we fit it that way.
