Riverhead Paving
Riverhead Paving
A driveway that’s crumbling at the edges, a patio that floods every time it rains. We hear that every week out here on Long Island, and we know how to fix it.
We’ve been laying asphalt and setting pavers across Suffolk County for years. From a tight backyard in a Summerwind development lot where there’s barely room to swing a compactor, to a wide open residential driveway off Route 25, we’ve worked in all of it.
What We Work With
Surface choices we carry and install:
- Hot mix asphalt, standard blacktop driveways and overlays
- Interlock concrete pavers, brick pattern and slab formats
- Poured concrete paving for patios and walkways
- Asphalt overlay on existing worn surfaces
- Permeable paver systems where drainage is the problem
- Flagstone-style concrete units for terraces and garden edging
New installs or repairs, we do both. And the small urban garden constraint is something we handle constantly, getting machinery into a narrow side passage or a yard with one entry point and no room to turn around.
The Work Itself
Proper base prep. Correct grading so water runs where it’s supposed to. The finish you see on day one should still look right in year five, and that only happens when the groundwork underneath it is done without cutting corners.
But a clean surface is honestly the least complicated part of this job. Getting the grade right and keeping the edges tight, that’s where most contractors lose it.
We cover Riverhead and the surrounding areas. Residential driveways, commercial lots, patios, terraces and walkways. No job is too straightforward to do well.
