Southend on Sea Patios

Southend on Sea Patios

Are you looking for someone local who actually knows the ground they’re working on?

I’ve been laying patios and transforming gardens across Southend on Sea, Essex for years, and I know this area well, from the coastal ground conditions near the seafront right through to the tighter residential plots further inland around the SS2 and SS9 postcodes.

What we do

Here’s what we cover day to day:

  • New patio installations from scratch
  • Porcelain tiled patios and Indian sandstone
  • Concrete flagstone and block paving installations
  • Garden paths and paving across the full plot
  • Timber fencing installations and garden walling
  • Roll-on turf and artificial grass lawns

We work with natural stone, porcelain, block paving, concrete flagstones, and everything in between. Every material has its own quirks, and I’ve spent long enough in this trade to know which ones perform well and which ones cause headaches further down the line.

Can a poorly laid base really undo months of planning? It absolutely can, and that’s why we never cut corners on the groundwork itself.

I’ve worked in some fairly demanding environments before coming to Essex, including conservation area projects in south Dublin where every material choice and finished level had to meet strict specifications. That experience shaped how I approach every job, whatever the setting.

You get straight answers from us before work starts. No vague estimates, no surprises when the invoice arrives.

The drainage and gradient work we do on every patio is not something you’ll notice when it’s done right, but you’ll notice immediately if someone skips it. We get it right the first time, which is the only way I’m happy to leave a job.
