Who we are

: Canvey Island, Essex. That is where we work, and most days that is where you will find us.

We are a patio and garden landscaping outfit based right here on the island. We have been laying patios, putting up fencing, and sorting out back gardens for homeowners across the local area for years. No middlemen, no subcontracted guesswork.

What we actually do

We cover a solid range of outdoor work. Here is what we take on:

• New patio installations using porcelain tiles, Indian sandstone, concrete flagstones and block paving
• Garden paving and path laying
• Timber fencing installations and garden walling
• Roll-on turfed lawns and artificial grass installations

We work with the materials properly. Porcelain needs a solid, well-prepared base or it will shift. Sandstone needs the right bedding mix or it stains and sinks. We do not cut corners on any of that.

What we deal with on the ground

Canvey has its own conditions. The ground here can be soft, drainage is something you have to think about from the start, and a lot of properties have terraced rear-access constraints, meaning we are carrying materials through a narrow side passage rather than reversing a lorry up to the back garden. Is that a problem for us? Not remotely. We have done it hundreds of times.

We once quoted a job over in Ringsend where the access made our tightest Canvey yards look generous, so nothing here catches us off guard.
